Work inspired by VIRACOCHA, Wiracocha or Huiracocha: it was the most important deity of the Inca Empire, the supreme being, who was not binary, neither male nor female. considered as the creator of all things or the substance from which all things originate; he was intimately related to the sea and the beginning of life on the planet. His blood was golden, and it was represented by gold, which had no material value for the Incas, but was sacred, as it was a representation of Viracocha.
My work, made exclusively from the recycling of discarded beverage cans, and abandoned on the streets of my city; wants to promote the recycling of this metallic material, giving it a new artistic use!
